On the first day, you will meet with our professional Guide at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport to pick up you from there to the reserved hotel then he will give you all information like prebriefing about our birdwatching tour. Due to the long journey you made you have a time to break and prepare the next day activity.

Rusizi National Park birdwatching

On the second day, we will wake up early in the morning then we leave the hotel at 5:20' a.m. to drive to Rusizi National Park to do birdwatching as our day activity. We will try to spot some species like Knob-billed Duck, Blue headed Coucal, Palm-nut Vulture and Lesser-striped Swallow. At 10 a.m we leave the park to go back at the hotel to take lunch and we leave there at 2 p.m. to drive 4 hours to Kirundo Province to spend a night.

Lake Rwihinda (Lake of birds)

We will wake up early in the morning to Lake Rwihinda also called Lake of birds to try spotting like Reed Cormorant, Great White Pelican and Spur-winged Goose. We will leave that destination at 10 a.m to go back at the hotel to take lunch then we take our journey to come back to to Bujumbura.
