Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore the lively markets or simply settle in and prepare for the upcoming safari. Your overnight stay in Arusha will ensure you are well-rested and ready for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2

Today you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Known for its remarkably large elephant community, the park also features an impressive array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the only permanent water source in the region, attracts a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with a population of up to six hundred elephants.

Today features an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, followed by a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park features a shallow alkaline lake set against the stunning Rift Valley escarpment. Expect to see rare tree-climbing lions and large herds of elephants. As you enter the park, you'll pass through a lush groundwater forest, home to many olive baboons and blue monkeys. Be sure to experience the 370-meter (1,200 ft) treetop walkway for panoramic aerial views. After a full day, return to your accommodations in Karatu for the night.

Afterward, we will travel to the Central Serengeti for your overnight stay.
