Arrival in Arusha – Gateway to Adventure

Morning Departure from Zanzibar
We will pick you up at 7:00 AM from your hotel (depending on the location of your hotel in Zanzibar) and transfer you to the airport for your 9:30 AM flight to Arusha. The flight duration is approximately 2 hours.

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, our guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Once you’ve settled in, you’ll have some free time to explore the city and its stunning landmarks. You may wish to visit cultural sites, markets, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Arusha.

Evening Safari Briefing
In the evening, our representative from the office will meet you at your hotel for a short safari briefing. This will be a chance to clarify any questions or concerns you may have about your safari journey ahead.

Tarangire National Park – A Wilderness Wonderland

Morning Departure
After a hearty breakfast at 7:00 AM, we will begin the approximately 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its ancient baobab trees and one of Africa’s largest elephant herds, the park offers a stunning introduction to the wilds of Tanzania. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Keep your eyes peeled for seasonal migrations and various bird species, especially around the Tarangire River, known for its rich birdlife.

Pause for a packed picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s breathtaking scenery, allowing you to soak in the beauty of nature before continuing with your wildlife adventure.

Ngorongoro Crater – Big 5 Exploration

Early Morning Departure
Start your day with an early breakfast around 7:00 AM (subject to your guide’s suggestion). Afterward, embark on a scenic drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable safari destinations.
As you explore this incredible caldera, experience the thrill of spotting the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalos—along with countless other wildlife species that thrive in this unique environment.

Bush Picnic Lunch
Enjoy a bush picnic lunch in the heart of the crater, allowing you to soak in the beautiful surroundings and the diverse wildlife around you.

Evening Departure to Karatu
After your exciting day, you will head to the charming highlands of Karatu for a relaxing evening. Arriving around 4:00 PM, you can unwind at your accommodation, preparing for the next day's adventures.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the park, then continue your afternoon game drive to explore more of its beauty.
Farewell & Transfer
Conclude your safari with a final game drive before heading to to Arusha for your 4:30 PM flight to Zanzibar, where a representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Tanzanian adventure.
