Zanzibar - Nyerere National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Zanzibar at 8:00 AM. Arriving in Nyerere National Park around 9:00 AM, you’ll be greeted by our experienced guide, who will provide a brief orientation. Immediately after, embark on an exciting full-day game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, from elephants to elusive big cats. As the sun begins to set, exit the park and transition to an evening boat safari, gliding along the Rufiji River and observing hippos, crocodiles, and birds in their natural habitat. Your day concludes with a comfortable overnight stay at Selous Safari Lodge.

Transfer to Zanzibar

Begin your day with a peaceful morning boat safari on the Rufiji River, starting at dawn. This early excursion allows you to witness the park's aquatic wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, in the soft morning light. After the boat safari, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Spend some time relaxing at the lodge or taking in the surrounding scenery before your 10:00 AM transfer to Zanzibar. Enjoy a scenic flight back to Zanzibar, arriving in the early afternoon, where the rest of the day is yours to explore or simply relax.
