Arusha to Serengeti

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at 07:30 from your hotel in Arusha (we can arrange accommodation for you upon request). You’ll then embark on your journey to Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descending from the highlands, you’ll enter the heart of Africa’s wild landscape—Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast, uninterrupted plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Your destination is the central Seronera area, a prime wildlife habitat within the park. This region, featuring the Seronera River, serves as a crucial water source that attracts a diverse range of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s many species.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, you’ll enjoy lunch before setting out for an afternoon game drive. After exploring the park, you’ll return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay at a public campsite.

On this day, we recommend rising early for breakfast at 06:30 to embark on a morning game drive within Serengeti National Park, when wildlife activity is at its peak. Enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunrises you’ve ever seen. After a thrilling morning, spend your afternoon exploring the park further before returning to your camp in the evening.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, we suggest waking up early for breakfast (06h30) to go on an early morning game drive, as this is when animals are more active. You will see one of the most beautiful sunrises you will ever witness.

Later, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Area. When you see the Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. You'll descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife viewing. This area boasts a diverse range of animals, including wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, and elephants, as well as predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. You'll visit Lake Magadi, known for its flamingos and other waterbirds.

Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer back to Arusha, where you can choose to be dropped off at the hotel of your choice within the city or at the airport.
