Transfer by Air from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha

Early in the morning, your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Arusha. The flight takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. When you arrive, our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, which is about a 30-minute drive away. Arusha is the gateway to most northern Tanzania safaris and a great city to explore. You will enjoy lively streets, good restaurants, and a taste of Tanzanian city life. After lunch, you will go on a guided city tour to discover more about Arusha.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will hop into a 4x4 safari vehicle with an open roof and large windows for the best game-viewing experience. You will spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park, with a picnic lunch in the wild. After the adventure, you will return to the lodge for evening drinks and dinner.

Tarangire National Park is a magical place, known for its stunning baobab trees that create a fairy-tale African landscape. The park is home to large herds of elephants, often seen roaming together. If you're lucky, you might also spot big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Other common wildlife includes wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, and zebras, making it a perfect safari destination.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

You'll get up early for breakfast to make the most out of your day in the Ngorongoro Crater. Later in the evening, you'll return to your lodge before dusk, and in time to freshen up before dinner.

Ngorongoro is a special place. If it is the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself. One where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger-than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world.

Visit Lake Manyara National Park and Fly back to Zanzibar

Today, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Around midday, our driver will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will meet our driver for your transfer.

Lake Manyara National Park offers unique safari experiences you won’t find elsewhere. Unlike the open plains of other parks, Manyara’s elephants move through dense forest, making it an unforgettable sight when one suddenly emerges from behind a tree. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and breathtaking landscapes—featuring a mix of lake, forest, and dramatic cliffs.
