Welcome to Tanzania! When you and your traveling party land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative. You then begin your journey towards Tinga Tinga and your lodge out in the Tanzanian wilderness. The journey takes about two hours and in clear weather you will be able to see Africa's highest mountain Kilimanjaro along the way. This will be the start of an exciting and memorable journey.

Day 2

Exploring Maasailand

Exploring Maasailand

Today you wake up in the African wilderness. If the weather is clear, you have amazing views towards the majestic Mt Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, the day's adventure begins and together with your Maasai guide you discover the area on foot. During the hike, you learn more about the area's rich flora and fauna and may be lucky enough to see zebras and antelopes in their natural habitat. After an exciting morning, you return to the lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy a few quiet hours of tranquility and recover from the day's adventures. Later in the afternoon you visit one of the nearby Maasai villages. It is a unique opportunity to experience Maasai culture up close. End the day around the campfire under the African starry sky, a perfect end to a memorable day.

As you travel, you'll pass through several charming rural villages and Tanzania's bustling largest city, Arusha. Upon arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, get ready for an exciting game drive, where you'll have the chance to spot diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. After a thrilling day of exploration, you'll head to Pamoja Farm Lodge in Karatu for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you'll leave your accommodation and drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A short ascent brings you to the crater rim, followed by a descent down the steep 600-meter wall to the lush crater floor. Inside, you’ll encounter the "Big Five": lion, buffalo, leopard, elephant, and the elusive rhinoceros. Ngorongoro offers a rare chance to see this endangered species. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the crater lake before heading to the Serengeti. Arrive at camp in time to watch the sun set over the vast savannah, ending the day by an open fire to the sounds of the savannah.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you begin your journey towards Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is known for its amazing safari experiences. The park's landscape varies from open savannah, forested areas, swampland, dense scrub, palm trees and areas with the iconic baobab trees. This diversity creates a unique and fascinating environment.
Exciting safari adventures await in Tarangire.
Together with your knowledgeable guide, you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, ostriches, buffaloes and a multitude of other wild animals. The coming days will be filled with memories and experiences that will stay with you for life.
You arrive at your camp at sunset. Enjoy a quiet evening by the campfire under the African starry sky.

Tarangire national park

You wake up to another exciting day on the savannah. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants, with over 3,000 elephants living in the park's ecosystem. It is a fantastic place to observe these majestic animals in their natural environment. Tarangire is also home to the iconic Baobab trees, which impress with their gigantic dimensions – some of them can be over 5 meters in diameter.
You spend the whole day in the park exploring its treasures together with your experienced guide. When the sun slowly sets over the horizon, you arrive at your camp where dinner is served. Once again, a day on the savannah has come to an end.
