Upon arrival at JKIA Nairobi, you'll meet two Ahadi Camp guides with two vehicles for a meet and greet. You'll transfer directly to the hotel in Nairobi to freshen up. If time allows, you'll do a Nairobi tour, Museum, or elephant orphanage. Most activities on arrival day are determined by your arrival time in Nairobi. You have to choose if you want to relax at the lodge or go to either the Museum or the Elephant Orphanage.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Your morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five as well as the diverse wildlife that inhabits this vast Kenyan game reserve. More to that, the Mara presents spectacular orange-tinged sunsets that are worth photographing on clear days.

The Masai Mara is home to a diverse range of animals like Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, gray jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, and wildebeests. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos can also be spotted in large groups. Occasionally, lions may be seen either basking in the sun after a large meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. On the other hand, leopards and cheetahs are more difficult to spot, but they are fairly common. The annual wildebeest exodus, known as the great migration, occurs in July and August. Furthermore, millions of these grazers migrate north from the Serengeti in search of greener pastures before returning to Southern Serengeti in October. Amazing Sunset with GT.
