Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA), a DK Tours and Safaris representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to A'Zambezi River Lodge. You will be picked up at 3:50 pm for the sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River. The cruise includes return transfers, snacks, soft drinks, wines, beers, and spirits.

Day 2

Guided Tour of Victoria Falls and Boma Dinner

Your guide will meet you at 7:00 am for the guided tour of Victoria Falls. This two-hour trip will take you to the falls via the Victoria Falls National Park and end at the open curio market after the falls tour.

You will have the rest of the day free for optional tours and be picked up for the Boma dinner at 7:00 pm. There will be lots of traditional entertainment (drumming shows and dances); the food is buffet-style.

Your overnight stay will be at A`Zambezi River Lodge BB.

Day 3

Chobe National Park - Botswana

Chobe National Park - Botswana

You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:30 am for a full-day safari in Chobe National Park, Botswana. The day begins with a boat cruise on the Chobe River, offering three hours of game viewing from the boat. Following the cruise, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at the four-star Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar).

After lunch, you will embark on a three-hour afternoon game drive in custom-made 4x4 safari vehicles, visiting the upper Chobe which is not accessible by boat. Here, you may have the chance to spot lions, hyenas, leopards, and other shy predators. The safari ends at around 5:00 pm, and you will be transferred back to your hotel near Chobe National Park.

Your overnight accommodation will be provided at the Chobe Safari Lodge or a similar property with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4

Safaris in Chobe National Park

Safaris in Chobe National Park

You'll have early morning game drives in Chobe National Park with tea and coffee in the bush. You will depart at 6:00 am and be back at the lodge at around 9:30 am for breakfast at the hotel. Early morning drives are great for big cat sightings.
At around 3:00 pm, you will be picked up for the afternoon cruise on the Chobe River. You'll enjoy big game sighting as they come down to the river for the last drink of the day. You will also get to witness the fantastic Chobe River sunset.

Elephant Sands Private Game Reserve

Elephant Sands Private Game Reserve

You will be picked up at 7:30 am for the transfer to Elephant Sands Lodge in Nata, where you will spend one night before proceeding to Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. Here, you will join the afternoon game drive in the Elephant Sands Game Reserve where lots of elephants will be seen as well as other plains game. Lions can be seen too. You will also enjoy wildlife viewing from the lodge's natural waterhole a few meters from the main building.

Day 6

Ntwetwe Salt Pan Makgadikgadi

Ntwetwe Salt Pan Makgadikgadi

The Ntwetwe Pan is a large salt pan within the Makgadikgadi region of Botswana. It is the largest of three large pans within the Makgadikgadi, the other two being Nxai Pan and Sua Pan. Ntwetwe Pan is now a seasonal lake with filling occurring in the rainy season.

You will enjoy the lifetime experience of seeping in the open with the starry sky as your roof. You will also get to see the meerkats— that you may not see in the parks for this tour, and you may also meet the bushmen of the Kalahari Desert here.

You will depart from the hotel at 4:00 pm and you will be back the next day at around 9:00 am.

You will be transferred from Gweta/Makgadikgadi Pans to Maun —the launch pad for the Okavango Delta activities. This day, we recommend an afternoon forty-five-minute scenic flight over the Okavango Delta (optional and own account) — just to get the bird's eye view of this unique wetland system of rivers, crystal clear channels, islands, and lagoons that creates a haven for flora and fauna. You will then proceed to Semowi Nature Camp —35 km towards the Okavango Delta.

Okavango Delta Mokoro Trails

After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day trip to explore the Okavango Delta. You can choose to explore the delta by Mokoro, which is a traditional dug-out canoe, by boat, or by taking a wilderness walk on nearby islands. During the trip, you will navigate through the lily-filled lagoons and streams, where you may spot animals such as lions, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and countless species of birds. You may even witness hippos fighting for bathing rights and crocodiles waiting for antelopes to linger too long over a drink. The day trip will end at around 4:00 pm. Your overnight stay will be at the Semowi Safari Camp (DBB).

This is your free day for optional tours in and around the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, or just around your safari camp.

Moremi Game Reserve full-day safari for US$280.00 (with lunch and refreshments).
Mokoro (dugout canoes) safari for US$195.00 (with lunch and refreshments).
2-hour bird-watching game drive for US$55.00.
1-hour walk along the river with a professional guide for US$30.00.
Activities are confirmed by at least two participants and can be booked on-site or in advance.
