Within this lush environment, you'll encounter a variety of species, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and antelopes, later drive to Mto wa mbu Twiga lodge for dinner and overnight.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel, join your guide as we complete the necessary formalities at the park gate and descend into the breathtaking landscapes of Ngorongoro Crater. Here, the stunning scenery offers a dramatic backdrop to your safari experience.
As we delve deeper, prepare to be awestruck by the views. You'll catch glimpses of the Big Five—the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—along with other remarkable creatures. Keep an eye open for flamingos on the crater's central lake, as well as a variety of bird species, including crowned cranes and ostriches.
Take a break for lunch at one of the designated picnic sites within the crater, such as the Hippo Pool Picnic Site. Enjoy a packed lunch while observing the magnificent wildlife in their natural habitat.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, typically between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Ensure all your belongings are packed and ready for the journey. Depart from Karatu around 8:30 AM. The drive from Karatu to Arusha is approximately 150 kilometers (93 miles), and the drive usually takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Along the way, you may decide to visit local markets to purchase souvenirs or local crafts.
Arrive in Arusha around 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Depending on your plans, you can be dropped off at your hotel, a local restaurant for lunch, or directly at kilimanjaro airport in time.
