Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park (Stay at Serengeti serena Safari Lodge)

Early at 6:00 am (pick-up time varies based on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti (Seronera Airstrip). Upon your arrival at 10:40 am, you will meet our driver-guide to begin your game drive.

The Central Serengeti is well-known for its abundant wildlife, especially the Big Five. It is home to one of the largest populations of lions in Africa, with over 3,000 in this area. The elusive African leopard is often spotted in the Seronera region, where there's also a population of around 1,000 African elephants.

A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site inside the park (all days).
The game drive will end at 5:00 pm (approx 6 hours game drive).
Dinner will be served at the lodge from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park (Spotting Africa's Big Five)

After a restful night surrounded by the sounds of nature, you will be awakened by the songs and chirping of birds in the heart of the Serengeti. You'll enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out for the game drive at 7:00 am.

Today is dedicated to seeking the famous Big Five animals, which include lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. The Central Serengeti is known for its incredible wildlife population, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

In the evening, you'll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. We recommend returning earlier to the lodge to enjoy the lodge facilities like a swimming pool.

Optional activity at extra cost: Early morning balloon safari experience in Serengeti, sunset walking safari, and bush dinner.

Early Morning Balloon Safari in Serengeti National Park (optional at extra cost)

Today marks the conclusion of your safari with us.

Consider adding a balloon safari experience for an extra cost. You'll soar above the Serengeti and enjoy stunning views from the sky. This unforgettable adventure lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours. You'll witness the sunrise while floating in the air, as the animals become active and the bush comes alive with bird songs.

Following your balloon ride, you'll discover the story behind balloons and champagne, and enjoy a delicious English breakfast under an acacia tree in the bush. You will also receive a certificate to commemorate your experience with us.

Finally, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. The flight departs from Serengeti at 11:30 am and arrives at Zanzibar Airport at 2:15 pm.
