Day 1-2

Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

After a short drive from Maun, we will reach the banks of an absolute oasis, the Okavango Delta. This is definitely not a place to miss out. Here, we will meet our community guides, experts in poling the traditional dugout canoes (mokoro). They will take us deep into the heart of this inland delta. We will camp in the wild. We get to experience the island overnight, and early in the morning, we explore the island on foot (bush walk).

This place has amazing herds of elephant, red lechwe, impala, and buffalo. In the late afternoon, enjoy a mokoro ride through the meandering channels of the Okavango and a G&T at sunset. The Okavango's biodiversity is remarkable.

Day 3-4

Khwai Concession

Khwai Concession

We wake up early for breakfast before we depart Okavango for Khwai Concession. Khwai is a private game reserve comprising lagoons, channels and grassland adjacent to the stunning Moremi Game Reserve on the edge of the world-famous Okavango Delta. The Khwai River forms the boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve, and you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in this pristine wildlife area. Being a private game reserve, Khwai Concession provides a more intimate wildlife experience.

Khwai sustains a remarkable density of flora and fauna, which makes exploring this natural habitat astonishing. Lions, wild dogs, impalas, zebras, kudus, leopards, and different species of birds interact and interrelate in this ecosystem. After a day filled with adventure, you will enjoy sundowners while enjoying fantastic views of the Khwai River before heading back to camp. We always have snacks, beer, water, and G&Ts for sunset.
