1-Day Materuni Village + Chemka Hot Springs

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

You will be picked up from lodge and start your safari to Materuni village. This is a very beautiful village where you will meet with locals. You will start with a moderate hike of about 40 minutes to the beautiful Materuni waterfall, along the way learning about local village life and enjoying the beauties of nature. Learn different types of flora and fauna. You will also have a chance to learn about coffee plantation and brew coffee with the locals.

After taking local lunch you will drive to Chemka hot spring. Here you will get a chance to swim in a unique natural pool with strong warm water current surrounded with amazing roots of fig trees. Late afternoon you will drive back to Arusha where you will be transferred to your lodge.
