Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, we'll be ready to greet you and transfer you to Karibu Heritage House. If you arrive ahead of schedule, you might have the opportunity to explore Arusha with a guided tour, which includes visits to popular attractions like the well-known art gallery, the Cultural Heritage Centre, the local market, and the Maasai market.

Wildlife Viewing on the Way to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your journey to Serengeti National Park will begin. The drive will be long and a bit rugged, but it offers the thrill of wildlife viewing along the way. As you traverse the crater highlands, you'll eventually be greeted by the vast Serengeti plains.
The trip typically takes six to seven hours. If the weather is clear, you'll make a brief stop at the crater viewpoint near the Ngorongoro gate. Here, you can enjoy a 10-minute break to take in the panoramic view of Ngorongoro Crater before proceeding to Serengeti.
A hot lunch will be served at the Serengeti Naabi Hill gate, after which you'll check in at the park and embark on an afternoon game drive. As evening approaches, you'll head to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Game-drive Enroute to Ngorongoro Crater
Around 6:00am, you’ll set off from the campsite with breakfast in tow for a sunrise game drive, the best time to observe animal activity. After a picnic breakfast in the wild, you'll continue your game drive before returning to camp for a substantial lunch. Following lunch, you'll pack up the vehicle, leave the campsite, and head towards the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. There, you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater
Your day will start with boarding the safari vehicle at 6:00am, heading towards the crater with a packed lunch. This unique area is teeming with East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino, which you might be lucky enough to spot. The crater spans approximately 260 square kilometers and has a diameter of about 20 kilometers, so plan to spend around five to six hours exploring its sights.
After your adventure, you'll begin the drive back to Arusha, with an expected arrival time between 5:00 and 6:00pm. You can choose to be dropped off at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport or at your hotel in Arusha.
