Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, is the region's primary water source during the dry season. The park features diverse vegetation, setting it apart from other northern safari circuit parks. Established in 1970, it boasts a large concentration of wildlife, including impressive mammals and hundreds of bird species. Highlights include tree-climbing African pythons, iconic baobab trees, and exceptional birdwatching opportunities. Besides game viewing, guests can enjoy nature walks and engage with local communities to experience their culture.

Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Program: After breakfast, you'll pack your lunch boxes and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, descend into the crater for a game drive.
Experience the spectacular landscapes of the crater and spot the Big Five (rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants), along with zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and a variety of birds such as flamingos, geese, storks, and vultures. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site by the Ngoitoktok Swamp, a hippo pool.
After your game drive, you will be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or onward journey.
