Day 1-2

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve

Pick-up from accommodation in Maun or from Maun international Airport, briefly before you head out for your 2 nights stay at Moremi Game reserve. Moremi is one of Botswana’s most rewarding safari destinations. Protecting a third of the Okavango Delta, it is a magical mix of waterways winding between secluded islands, woodlands and lily-covered lagoons. This rich diversity of ecosystems makes for extraordinarily beautiful scenery – and some seriously good game viewing too!

See a peninsular of dry land called the Mopane Tongue, best place to see Moremi’s predators and herds on your morning and afternoon game drives. Set off on game drives across wide-open grasslands, onto the hunting grounds of lion prides and wild dog packs. Elephants and buffalo herds gather on sunny riverbanks and leopards rest in the branches of giant riverside trees. Boat Cruise is a great way to see birdlife. G&T always available for sundown, wine at veining around the fire as you share your day experience.

On Day 3 we wake up early for morning breakfast, carry our bags immediately after breakfast and transit to next destination, Khwai Reserve. Our support team will break the camp and go arrive at our next camp ahead of us. So they have quality time to set-up camp.

Located just outside the north-eastern boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai offers unmatched wildlife encounters, including spectacular bird watching opportunities. Here you’ll enjoy great game viewing, including night game drives, as animals gather around various watering holes and the Khwai River. This wildlife-rich area is one of the best places in Botswana to see African wild dogs and other predators and, with no fences separating any of these areas, you are likely to see just about everything that northern Botswana has to offer. 2 nights stay here, we are always on Game drives, morning and afternoon. Night drives is also possible for the nocturnal species experience.
