Day 1

Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

At 6:00 AM, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport. You will take a morning flight at 8:00 AM from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport. Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport at 9:30 AM, our driver-guide will warmly welcome you. After a brief orientation, you will start your drive to Southern Part of Serengeti National Park known as Ndutu.

Ndutu provides the best wildlife viewing during the green season, which is from December to March. Ndutu is located in the southern part of the Serengeti plains, where around 8,000 wildebeest babies are born every day. It is the best place to spot six species of cats—leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, African wildcat—and other wildlife species.

Lunch: We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

After lunch, we'll continue our game-viewing drive to witness the wildlife of Ndutu. Afterwards, we'll head to our lodgings, a permanent tented camp in the midst of the wilderness for dinner and overnight relax.

Main Destination:
Southern Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)
High Season July to March (The Seronera area is crowded)

The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the grazing plains from December to April. The area is usually crowded with elephants, birds, and predators.

Upon arrival at 5:30 PM, you will meet our driver, who will transfer you to your hotel.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a World Heritage Site based on natural and cultural criteria. Once you descend the crater, you will have a great chance to spot the Big Five, including prides of lions, herds of buffalos, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos.
