Day 1

Upon arrival, you'll be picked up at the airport by a representative from Apes Booking Vacations and be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, we’ll stop at the equator for photos and some coffee (if needed). Continue your journey with a lunch stop in Mbarara City before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll arrive in the evening.

Day 2

Kalinzu Forest Reserve

Kalinzu Forest Reserve

After an early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Kalinzu Forest Game Reserve for chimpanzee trekking. After a briefing on the trek, you'll enter the forest and trek for two-to-three hours before spending one hour with the chimpanzees. You’ll then return to the park offices and be transferred back to your hotel for lunch, at which time you’ll prepare for the afternoon boat cruise.

Day 3

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, your guide will take you on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi sector in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and many others. After the game drive, you'll be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector to search for the famous tree-climbing lions before continuing on.

Day 4

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, your guide will drive you to the park offices for a briefing before you head into the forest for gorilla trekking. It will take approximately three-to-four hours to locate the gorillas, at which point you will spend one hour in their presence. Afterward, return to the lodge to relax and prepare for the Batwa community walk in the evening.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Entebbe

After an early breakfast you will begin your journey back to the airport. You will pass through the terraced hills of Kabale, enjoying the amazing landscapes. There will be a short stop at the equator for lunch and craft shopping if desired. You will arrive at the airport around 4:00pm.
