3-Day Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga Safari

Arrival and transfer to Mgahiga

Have an early breakfast and you will be picked up by the safari guide to kicking start your three days gorillas’ safari with the transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park with lunch en-route at Mbarara town. Upon arrival at the park check-in at the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking in mgahinga

Immediately after your early breakfast, make sure that you have your packed lunch and enough water, have a short drive to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of the Gorilla trekking conducted by the Uganda wildlife authority ranger guides. Then start your guide tour into the forest where you may spend approximately 5 hours in search of the habituated Nyakagezi gorilla group because their movement is unpredictable, upon reaching them you will spend 1 hour with them observing, learning about their behaviors, and photographing. After gorilla trekking, you will transfer back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
