Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara

Arusha to Lake Manyara

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 AM and head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game driving with a picnic lunch. As you enter the park, you'll see lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees. The game drive will continue until evening, with a break for lunch. Look out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, though spotting them can be hit or miss. If you visit during the right season, you might see the shoreline dotted with millions of flamingos, although their numbers have declined recently. After the game drive, you'll return to your lodge in Karatu for a delicious dinner.

Day 2

Karatu to Ngorongoro crater

Karatu to Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, we’ll drive from Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater, which takes about 1.5 hours. We’ll then descend to the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. Expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and a variety of birds, including eagles, vultures, storks, bats, and herons. We’ll have a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool before continuing our game drive. Afterward, we’ll climb out of the crater and head to the Serengeti National Park by afternoon. In the Serengeti, we’ll explore the central area, known as Seronera, famous for its rich wildlife and the Seronera River, which attracts many animals. We’ll enjoy game drives in this area throughout the day, and tonight, we’ll stay in Central Serengeti.

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a full day of game drives in Central Serengeti. You can choose to go on game drives in the morning and afternoon, with a break to relax at your accommodation during the middle of the day. The day ends with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your Central Serengeti accommodation.

After an early breakfast, you’ll go on a morning game drive in Central Serengeti. Then, we’ll leave Serengeti and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a 4.7 to 5-hour drive, you’ll arrive at your accommodation in Karatu by the end of the day. A delicious dinner will be waiting for you at your accommodation. After several days of safari adventures, you’ll need a good rest. The following day, you’ll start the final part of your safari.

Tarangire game drives and transfer to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, you'll start around 7:00 AM with a hearty breakfast. Today’s destination is Tarangire National Park, about 2 hours from Karatu. You’ll enjoy game drives in the park until around 3:30 PM. Tarangire, Tanzania’s third-largest park, is famous for its impressive baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. You might also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffaloes, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. In the early afternoon, you’ll head towards Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your chosen location by around 6:00 PM. As your safari ends, you'll say goodbye to your team, taking with you unforgettable memories.
