Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to Murchison Falls National Park. Driving time 5 hours.
After breakfast, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
En route, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
You will have lunch en route after the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary visit.

Day 3

Game Drive and Launch Cruise

Game Drive and Launch Cruise

On this day, you will wake up early and have breakfast at 6:30 am. Afterward, your driver and the ranger guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your game drive at 7:00 am. During the drive, you will be in a position to see very many animals such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, and birds among others.

After the game drive at around 11:40 am, you'll drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up, and have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat, you will be able to see various Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different beautiful birds some singing in the trees such as the bee-eaters, the colored kingfishers, the shoe billed stork and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the Murchison Falls, when you reach here you will be able to see the mighty waterfalls.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will drive to Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park.
You'll arrive at noon at the lodge. You'll have lunch and enjoy Bigodi Wetland.
Rich in biodiversity and scenic beauty, a 4.5km long walk will take you through this important wildlife corridor of Kibale Forest and will take up to 3 hours.

The “home of the great blue turaco” is a real bird-watcher’s paradise. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including hornbills, turacos, and parrots, cranes. The sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the black and white colobus, red Colobus, red-tailed monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, olive baboon, L’hoest monkey, vervet monkey, and blue monkey.

The swamp is also a haven for other mammals such as sitatungas, bushbucks, and otters.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park

At 6 am, you will go for chimpanzee trekking. You'll return for breakfast and lunch.
Later, you'll be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The driving time is 2 hours. You will check in, have dinner, and enjoy a night game drive which starts at 8 pm and lasts for 2 hours.
The night game drive will help you see all of the animals, especially the hippos grazing on land. You will also see the antelopes and the elephants, as well as the buffaloes lying happily in their home. What’s more, if you’re lucky, you might run into a pride of lions as they walk around your car. Various waterbucks, kobs, elephants, and a panther in a thicket with bright eyes may be seen along the path and vehicles between Mweya Peninsula and Katunguru’s main gate.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

At 5 am, you will go for an early morning game drive. You will take about 4 hours on the game drive. You'll return for breakfast.
You'll have lunch from half past midday.
In the afternoon, you'll have a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel.
A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel provides tourists with the chance to get a closer encounter with the other wildlife species that visit the River banks without fear for their lives and safety such the Cape buffaloes, African elephants, monitor lizards, Uganda kobs, Defassa waterbucks, common elands and topis among others.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 7

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll transfer to Bwindi National Park (3 hrs drive)
At 6 am after breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi National Park.
You'll have lunch on arrival. You will enjoy Batwa cultural entertainment or you'll relax for the rest of the afternoon.
The Batwa experience takes place outside of the park in an old-growth forest on land that is next to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park. The Batwa experience begins with a nature walk, and hike through the forest seeing the forest in a new way, through the eyes of the original people of the Forest. You'll learn how they hunted the small animals they used for food, what things they gathered, and how traps and nets were used.
Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After an early morning breakfast at 6 am, you will go for gorilla trekking. The briefing is at 7 am. Tracking starts at 8 am. The time taken depends on the movement of the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas. Lunch will either be a packed lunch or a hot lunch at the lodge depending on the time you finish. You will relax for the rest of the afternoon. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

You will have an evening boat ride on Lake Mburo to see animals like hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10

Game Drive and Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe

Game Drive and Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe

You will wake up early and have time to take a warm cup of tea before you head for a game drive through the park in search of game like the zebras, hippos, crocodiles, elands, antelopes, impalas and a variety of bird species.
Later, you will drive to Kampala. You'll stop over at the equator and have lunch en route. You'll proceed to Jinja, see the source of the Nile, and enjoy the sunset cruise with dinner. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel and the next day is reserved for departure. Alternatively, from Lake Mburo, you can proceed to Entebbe for drop off at the airport or hotel.
