Serengeti National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your Hotel and will drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a spectacular View of the Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing as far as the eye can see is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti mean "endless plain" and this6900 sq. mile (18000s q. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million wildebeest. From January to April is the season when wildebeest give birth to their calves and also hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson's gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat eared foxes, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboons and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. After the game drive, you will drive for your evening rest at the camp.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro National park

You will Wake up very early Have a Cup of coffee and some cookies and enjoy a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park to spot animals when they are more active and also to witness a fantastic African sunrise; one of the most spectacular sites one can experience. You will then return to camp for Full Breakfast, check-out and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater. After a full game drive in Serengeti, you will drive to the campsite at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. You will then travel to Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. Large bull elephants that reside here have V large tusks, due to the rich minerals content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. After your Tour and game drive back to Arusha and you will be dropped off at your specific Hotel.
