Tarangire National Park
Your Ozon Light Tour Safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. You will travel to Tarangire National Park, which is about a two-and-a-half-hour drive on well-maintained roads. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it, known as the "river of warthogs". This river serves as the primary water source for wildlife in the area during the dry season. Tarangire National Park is famous for its elephant herds, often seen near the river. Other animals like giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests are common sightings, followed by predators such as lions and leopards. The park boasts a diverse range of bird species for breeding compared to anywhere else globally. Additionally, visitors can marvel at the ancient baobab trees that have stood for centuries.
Lunch will be provided at a designated picnic spot within the park. Following your game drive, you will be transferred to your accommodation close to the park.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive up to the cooler areas of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have an opportunity to stop and admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Following this, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to reach the Serengeti, entering from the southern part of the park.
The Serengeti is truly remarkable for its expansive open grasslands that offer excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. While it is home to a diverse range of wildlife, it is most renowned for its annual great migration. This migration involves large numbers of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes moving in a cyclical pattern as they search for fresh grazing grounds. The migration can be witnessed at different times throughout the year; one just needs to know where to look!

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon your initial glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater, it presents itself as a realm forgotten by time. Hidden behind its steep volcanic walls lies an untouched wilderness featuring vast savannahs, clusters of acacia forests, and shimmering lakes and marshes. The crater came into existence when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed upon itself around two to three million years ago.
Descending into the crater is an exhilarating experience in its own right. As you reach the crater floor, you will soon find yourself surrounded by abundant populations of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over five hundred species of birds. The crater offers an excellent opportunity to spot the endangered black rhinoceros, which occasionally roams the open grasslands.
After a full afternoon exploring the crater's wonders, you will return to Highview Hotel for an overnight stay.

During your park explorations, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.
