Day 1

Depending on your location in Kampala or Entebbe, you will be picked up by our company representative or the safari guide who will drive you to Murchison Falls national park, with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, this is a 3 hours’ road trip from Kampala for Rhino trekking experience. Then after the adventure you will have lunch and continue to Murchison falls national park entering via Kichumbanyobo gate on the side of Masindi town. Arrive at the park in the evening and transfer to your lodge for a relaxation.

Day 2

Continue with the 8 Days Murchison, Kibale, Queen, and Gorillas safari, have early morning breakfast and then after go for a morning game drive at the Nile delta where you anticipate spotting various wildlife species like Cape elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs and many more. Retire back and have lunch and by 2pm, you will go for a boat cruise towards the bottom of the Murchison Falls along the Victoria Nile, enjoy the views of the highest concentration of hippo and a big number of crocodile resting along the River banks, as well as high amounts of various wildlife species getting down to calm their thirsty and bathe. After the boat ride to the bottom of the falls, you will hike up to the top of the falls where you will be picked up by your safari guide to return back to the lodge.

Day 3

Have an early breakfast and embark on your whole day road trip to Kibale forest national park, which is the top safari destination in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. Arrive at the park late in the evening and proceed to your lodge for the Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After morning breakfast you will head out for chimpanzee trekking with your picnic packed lunch and enough water. Meet your ranger guide at the park offices and then enter the rainforest to begin the search for the man’s closest cousins, this will take about 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. Upon seeing them, you will spend 1 full hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures and observing their characters. After chimpanzee tracking you will head to refresh at the lodge then embark on a 2-3 hours nature walk at Bigodi swamp and from there proceed with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. This is a 3 hours’ road trip from Fort portal with en route at the Equator.

After breakfast early morning, head out for a game drive at Kasenyi area where you will be spotting a good number of wildlife species including The African Elephants, Rothschild’s Giraffes, Cape Buffaloes and other species of antelopes. After enjoying your relaxed lunch at the lodge, embark on your boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife and bird watching experience as you cruise on the intersection of Lake Edward and George.

After breakfast, drive out of the Queen Elizabeth to connect to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home to Ugandan Mountain Gorillas) via Ishasha sector for tree climbing lion game drive in search for tree-climbing lions when the game drive is done continue to Bwindi impenetrable National Park.

Day 7

Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and proceed to the park offices with your picnic packed lunch and water. Have a briefing from the park warden about the gorillas, and the adventure starts by 8am you will be allocated to the gorilla family together with your ranger guides on duty. The trekking can take anything from 2-8 hours. Once you arrive at the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one full hour with them as you stand in a distance of 6 meters away learning, and observing their characters. From there return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast to put an end on the 8 Days adventure to Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth, and Gorillas safari by a road trip transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, proceed to the equator line for the photographic moment. Arrive in Kampala late in the evening, with a drop off.
