After a hearty breakfast, you'll set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, covering approximately 110 kilometers in about 3 hours from moshi. Known for its impressive elephant herds, Tarangire is also a haven for lions, leopards, and diverse bird species, offering a stunning array of landscapes and wildlife.
The park’s southern region features the picturesque Silale Swamp, a vital water source that attracts abundant wildlife. Along with the Tarangire River, this swamp sustains the park's fauna, especially during the dry season, making for spectacular wildlife viewing.
