Your day starts with breakfast around 8:00 am. You’ll then drive with packed lunch boxes to Lake Natron, which is about 3.5 hours from Mto Wa Mbu/Manyara. Lake Natron is a unique and fascinating place with its highly alkaline, shallow waters. After checking into your lodge and taking a short break, you’ll put on your walking shoes for a guided walk around the lake’s shores with a Maasai guide. You’ll look for birds, especially the lesser flamingos, which come in huge numbers during the breeding season from September to January. After your hike, you’ll return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful night.

Your day begins early at 6:00 am with a light hike to the Ngare Sero waterfalls, where you can enjoy the refreshing spray of the cascading water. Don’t forget your walking shoes! By 8:30 am, you’ll head back to the lodge for breakfast before driving to Serengeti National Park.

On the way, you’ll pass through various landscapes, including towns, savannahs, and forests, and might spot antelopes, wildebeest, and zebras. You’ll arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon and drive to the North Serengeti for an exciting game drive. You’ll enjoy a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor, where you'll see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. Keep your camera handy for great shots. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, you’ll climb back up to exit the crater.
