Your wildlife adventure begins with a pick-up from your Arusha hotel and a transfer to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its towering baobab trees, diverse birdlife, and a rich population of large mammals, the park is home to one of Tanzania's largest elephant concentrations. After exploring the park, you'll be taken to your camp for an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha
You'll begin your final game drive early, departing the camp around 6:00 am for the Ngorongoro Crater. Known as the world's largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa's new 7 Natural Wonders, this area is rich in wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, and elands, along with warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards also roam the park, which is a sanctuary for flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. After your morning game drive, you'll enjoy a packed lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. The adventure concludes with a transfer back to Arusha, either to your hotel or the airport.
