Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Early in the morning, the driver-guide will pick you up in Nairobi and provide a briefing on your safari before we depart for the Masai Mara.

The travel time to Mara will take around 5 to 6 hours. Along the way, there will be a stopover at the Great Rift Valley, where you can take photos of the sheer drop of the Rift Valley, as well as the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot. There will also be a stopover at Narok town for lunch, where a simple buffet of traditional Kenyan foods awaits.

Upon arrival at Mara, you can settle in and rest before proceeding to an afternoon game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve.

After our afternoon game drive, we head back to your camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, home to over 3 million large mammals. Our experienced tour guide-driver will take you in search of the famous Big 5, among other animals, including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog, giraffe, zebra, antelope, wildebeest, and various bird species. A picnic lunch will be served at the Mara River as you witness the famous migration.

After our full-day game drive, we will head back to your camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 3

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru with a game drive en route. A picnic lunch will be served. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru early in the evening, in time for dinner.

Lake Nakuru is a renowned paradise for bird watchers with its large population of birds. The most famous are the thousands of flamingos that form a beautiful deep-pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore. Apart from these flamingos, there are also over 400 other bird species visiting the lake. Other animals in the park include Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and several other species of plains game.

After our afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru, around 6:30 pm, we head back to the camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

Early in the morning, we will once again embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru, often referred to as the “Pink Lake”, and feast your eyes with sightings of flamingos. If you're lucky, you might also see other game, such as waterbuck, impala, rhino and buffalo within the surroundings.

We will return to the resort for breakfast before we depart for Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is the country's international biosphere reserve with a huge ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli, in Maasai, means "Place of Water". Herds of zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, leopard and elephant will make your imagination of African wildlife come to life. Mount Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop of this game sanctuary.

After our afternoon game drive at Amboseli, around 6:30 pm, we head back to the camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 5

We will set off for another extensive game drive and bask under the sun while enjoying the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, from wildebeest to giraffe and baboon, among many others.

An optional visit to a Maasai village can also be arranged. This visit gives a good tour of the Maasai culture. You will be welcomed with a sing-and-dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is one of the most memorable experiences to take with you.

After our full-day game drive at Amboseli, we head back to your camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.
