After breakfast we will proceed to Kibale National Park via Mubende Town where we have a short coffee break. Afterwards we proceed to Fort Portal for lunch and a nature walk in the swamp, lots of bird species can be seen. Dinner will be held and at a local lodge.

On this day, we will head to the Kanyanchu Park headquarters for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure.
After enjoying a delicious lunch at the lodge, we will embark on a scenic walk to the “Top of the World” viewpoint in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Dinner will be served at your lodge, providing a perfect end to a memorable day.

Day 3

Travelling to Mgahiga National Park

We shall continue our safari towards the Mgahiga National Park, which is located in the Virunga Mountains bordering Rwanda (7hrs drive). En route you have the possibility to see the breathtaking landscape of these two countries. On our way we shall have lunch at Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Africa which has over 29 island. We continue our drive to Mgahiga National Park, where we will have dinner and overnight at a local lodge.

After breakfast at the lodge we shall drive to the Mgahiga Park headquarters for the gorilla trekking journey. Later in the afternoon we will have lunch on our way to the beautiful and artistic town of Ruhengeri in Rwanda.
Dinner and overnight will be held at a local lodge.

On our fifth day together, we'll delve into the vibrant heart of Rwanda by exploring Kigali, its bustling capital city.

Our day will be filled with visits to various landmarks and attractions that showcase the city's unique charm and history. We'll explore its landmarks and learn about the 1994 genocide at the Kigali Genocide Memorial A Profound and Traumatic Incident providing us with a deeper understanding of the tragic events that shaped Rwanda's history.

We will immerse ourselves in the city's rich culture through local markets where the vibrant colors and sounds offer a sensory feast and art centers. This day promises a blend of reflection, education, and cultural discovery.
Afterward, we might have a moment of reflection with a relaxing drink before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

In the morning, we'll embark on a thrilling game drive through the captivating terrain of Akagera National Park. This diverse ecosystem is home to various fascinating wildlife, including zebras, lions, leopards, and countless bird species. Beyond the Big Five, Akagera is home to a variety of other mammals, including zebras, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. It's also a birder's paradise, with over 500 species recorded.

Picture yourself cruising through the park's lush landscapes, heart pounding with anticipation as you spot these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. It's an experience you'll never forget!

After a day of excitement and wonder, we'll return to your comfortable lodge for a well-deserved rest.
