Tarangire is known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and boasts the country's most significant number of elephants! You will encounter these giants up close and observe the interaction between elephant families. We will follow reported animal sightings as you do a game drive. There are plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. The predators (lions, cheetahs, and leopards) are more difficult to spot. Later, you will go to the river picnic site and enjoy the beautiful river view and animals while having lunch. Keep an eye out for small monkeys and baboons that will try to scare you and take your lunch! They are, however, nothing to worry about.
