Nairobi City to Lake Nakuru National Park via Crescent Island Game Sanctuary

Pick up at Nairobi hotel or airport by 0700hrs and drive to Crescent Island with stop over at Great Rift Valley viewpoint for some photos. The journey will take 2 hours.

Crescent island is one of Naivasha's best-kept secrets and is perfect for wildlife watching and bird enthusiasts. Bird species found on the island include fish eagles, herons, cranes, pelicans, and lily-trotters. The wildlife includes Masai giraffes, zebras, bat-eared foxes, long-tailed cormorants, bush babies, vervet monkeys, jackals, Kirk's dik-dik, and spring hares.

Guests can enjoy several activities like guided nature walks and bird watching. Later, proceed to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, hotel check inn with lunch. Later head to the park for Evening game drive

Afterwards return to the lodge for dinner served from 1900hrs to 2100hrs. After dinner, relax and prepare for the next day's adventure.

Exploring Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast will be served from 0600hrs to 0700hrs and check-out. Head to Lake Nakuru National Park for more game drives.

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya's top tourist destinations, offering an amazing opportunity to encounter wildlife and bird species. You will likely see rhinos (black and white), rare tree-climbing lions, and endangered Rothschild's giraffes. Other animals in the park include leopards, cheetahs, waterbuck, hyenas, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and gazelles.
The park is a paradise for bird lovers, boasting over 400 bird species, including Egyptian geese, pelicans, and fish eagles.
Additionally, the park features the famous Makalia Falls, offering a spectacular view of the waterfall from the cliff.

Afterwards proceed to Nairobi City. The expected arrival time will be 1400hrs.
