Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by your driver who will be waiting for you upon arrival. You will drive to your accommodation in Arusha, and on a clear day, you may have views of Kilimanjaro en route. After a long day traveling, you may want to rest, but if you want to keep yourself busy until the evening, we can arrange a city tour or other experiences depending on your interests.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will meet an office representative for a briefing about your safari. Then, you'll take a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle being herded by the nomadic people. You will see all that Tarangire National Park is known for. You'll see its famous ancient baobab trees, tree-climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive then drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Rise and shine! After breakfast, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) to spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and return to Arusha to catch your flight or get dropped at your own choice of accommodation.
