Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, brief you about the safari program, and embark on a journey of about 5-6 hours to Masai Mara National Reserve, the most popular wildlife destination in Kenya. Along the way, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy views of the Rift Valley Escarpments before proceeding to the reserve, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch at the camp, you will head to the reserve for an afternoon game drive, searching for the Big Five (lions, leopards, rhinos, Cape buffaloes, and elephants). You will spot other animals, such as cheetahs, African wild dogs, gazelles, and Masai giraffes.

After the African sunset, you will return to Mara Maisha Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have breakfast and head to the reserve with your packed lunch for a full day of wildlife viewing. You will have a chance to explore the reserve and spot abundant wildlife. If you visit between July and August, you can witness the great wildebeest migration, spotting thousands of wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras toward the Serengeti. You will have a picnic lunch along the Mara River and proceed with another game drive.

You'll return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

You'll have an early morning breakfast, check out, and leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will arrive in time for lunch and check-in. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park boasts an abundance of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Think of black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hippos occupying euphorbia forests, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, and rocky escarpments around the alkaline lake.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

You'll have an early morning breakfast and a game drive en route. You will leave Lake Nakuru National Park for Lake Naivasha, a 2-hour drive, and arrive in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you'll cruise through the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha on a boat safari that promises to unveil many of the region's spectacular birdlife. You will travel with a resident birding expert who will help you identify some of the region's 400 bird species. Keep your binoculars ready to see pink-backed pelicans, the goliath heron, and the saddle-billed stork. After the boat ride, you will proceed to the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a walking safari and one of the lake's scenic and breathtaking wildlife sanctuaries. Crescent Island is the only place to walk with animals as they roam freely.

Finally, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have an early morning breakfast, check out, and leave Lake Naivasha for Amboseli National Park, a 5-hour drive. There will be a stop to view the incredible Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Amboseli. You will arrive in time for lunch and check-in at the hotel. After relaxation, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape above the open plains. Amboseli is also one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore 5 different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands.

You'll enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and get ready for a full-day game drive. Our driver shall ensure in the morning game drive, you do not miss viewing the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the viewpoint hill in the park. You will explore more about animals such as elephants, giraffes, and buffalos. The bird's lover will have a chance to meet some bird species, such as the oxpeckers that ride on the elephant's back, helping to buffet ticks. You'll enjoy lunch at the Amboseli Observation Hill which will give you the best views of the Amboseli Savannah and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 7

You'll enjoy breakfast, followed by check-out and drive to Tsavo West National Park. It’s a short drive to Tsavo West and you may spot some wildlife on the way. You certainly will at the park itself, home to Africa’s Big Five plus giraffes, impalas, dik-diks, baboons, and monkeys. You'll arrive at the Kilanguni Serena Lodge in time for lunch and check-in.

You’ll visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary and look for some of these shy and endangered creatures. Some 80 black rhinos are here, and they like to forage about in the thick undergrowth.

Besides the rolling plains and natural springs, you’ll also come across ancient volcanic cones and lava beds, reminders of the park’s timelessness. One of Tsavo West’s more surprises is Mzima Springs. Mzima means “life” in Swahili and you’ll find aquatic life all about in this lush oasis. Besides being a popular watering hole for elephants and zebra, you can’t miss the rich parade of birdlife, fish, hippos, and crocodiles that make their home here.

You'll enjoy an early morning wildlife viewing drive at the Tsavo West followed by breakfast. Later, you will head out to Taita Hills Sanctuary. This private sanctuary is located right next to Tsavo West, so it’s an easy hop to get here. The landscape in this park is more verdant than Tsavo, and the wildlife viewing is every bit as good. The sanctuary offers good birdwatching but that isn’t Taita Hills’ main attraction.

You'll have lunch at the Saltlick Lodge followed by game drives till evening.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Saltlick Lodge.

You will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, check out, and embark on a 4-hour drive to Tsavo East National Park. You will enjoy a game drive en route to Tsavo East. You'll check in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge early in the afternoon and have lunch. You will enjoy afternoon games at this fantastic park, famously known as the home of red elephants. Tsavo East National Park is in southeast Kenya, near the Tanzanian border and the Kenyan coast. Spanning 13,747km² (5,300mi²) of pristine wilderness, the park is also one of Kenya's most extensive protected areas. It has more biodiversity than any other park globally, marking the meeting point between northern and southern wildlife. It is 9 times bigger than the Masai Mara National Reserve and is well known for its maneless lions, big herds of red dust-covered elephants, and cheetahs. The vegetation is sparse, so wildlife spotting is generally easier than its counterpart.
