Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel, and after meeting your guide and chef, drive 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscape and iconic ancient baobab trees. This park boasts the largest elephant population in the country, offering a rare chance to observe family interactions up close. Enjoy a game drive through the park, with opportunities to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, alongside abundant herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras.

Stop for lunch at the scenic Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy the stunning views and watch wildlife in action. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and baboons who may try to steal a bite, adding a touch of fun to your meal!

Day 2

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Mto wa Mbu and drive to Serengeti, a 6-hour journey (including stops) through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you’ll pause at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for about 20 minutes to take in the stunning panoramic views.

An optional visit to a Maasai village is available. Here, you can immerse yourself in the culture of the Maasai community, known for its rich traditions and unique practices. Although some customs, like lion hunting, are no longer practised, you can still learn about their fascinating heritage. The visit is not included in the price and costs $10 to $20 per person.

You’ll arrive in Serengeti by late afternoon and embark on a game drive in Seronera, the heart of the park. Enjoy the spectacular sunset as you observe wildlife, with a chance to witness predators on the hunt before concluding the day.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you'll embark on a morning game drive, spotting a variety of wildlife until the afternoon. You will return to the camp for lunch and pack up before continuing your game drive as you exit the Serengeti. Proceed to the Simba Campsite near the Ngorongoro Crater rim, a 2-hour drive.

Note: Wildlife sightings are common around the campsite.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, embarking on a quest to spot the elusive black rhino. While the crater’s unique landscape makes it easy to see many animals, the rhino remains one of the most challenging to find. After lunch, you will enjoy another game drive before ascending the crater and returning to camp to pack for your trip to Arusha, where you will stay at Jevas Hotel.

Day 5

Mount Kilimanjaro

Embark on a day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro and witness the grandeur of Africa's highest peak. Your adventure begins early in the morning, departing from the base of the mountain and ascending through lush rainforests that transition into heather and moorland. Throughout your hike, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and the iconic Kilimanjaro peak.

The trail meanders through diverse ecosystems, offering opportunities to observe unique flora and fauna. Depending on the route, you may reach scenic viewpoints with breathtaking vistas of the glacier-capped summit and expansive plains below. Designed for day hikers, the trek includes plenty of stops to rest and savor the natural beauty.

After a fulfilling day of hiking, you'll return to the base and reflect on the stunning landscapes and your sense of accomplishment. Your safari concludes here, followed by a drive back to the Arusha region, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
