Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel and after meeting the guide, chef, and the other clients. You will drive to Tarangire National Park (2-hr drive), which is famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. You will do a game drive through the park depending on where they have reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetahs, and leopards — as they are harder to spot). The herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, etc. are plenty to see throughout the park.

After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive and exit the park at around 4:30 pm when you will head to your campsite accommodation for dinner and sleep.
