Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park for Boat and Game Drive

You'll be picked up early from your hotel and transferred to Stone Town for a domestic flight to Selous or Nyerere National Park. This park offers a stunning blend of diverse ecosystems, from lush riverine forests to vast savannas, home to a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and hippos. As you traverse its expansive landscapes, our expert guides will provide insights into the park’s unique flora and fauna, making your experience both educational and unforgettable.

Around 10:00 am, you'll pause for a mid-morning coffee or tea break before continuing your game drive. You'll enjoy an authentic bush lunch in the afternoon, surrounded by the sounds of nature. After lunch, your adventure continues with more wildlife sightings until late afternoon or evening. Finally, you'll head to the lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay, bringing an amazing safari day to a close.

Flying Back to Zanzibar

You'll begin your day with an early morning bush walking safari, starting at 6:30 am and lasting for about 2 to 2.5 hours, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of nature as the day awakens. After your walk, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast at 8:30 am. Following breakfast, you'll set off on a thrilling boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you'll spend 2 to 3 hours observing wildlife from the water.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy lunch at the lodge and, if time permits, you'll make a stop for a village visit before heading to the airstrip for your departure. This day offers a perfect mix of walking, boating, and cultural experiences, ensuring a memorable end to your adventure.
