The day you have been waiting for is here, after a delicious breakfast, your private driver-guide will take you on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park where you will be provided with a packed lunch and soft drinks. The park is renowned for its abundant elephant herds and other wildlife competing with the Serengeti and varied landscapes, which range from seasonal swamps to sweeping savannahs adorned by the meandering Tarangire River. The chances of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards lounging in the treetops are high. Once at Mandara Hut, enjoy a tasty packed lunch before setting out on a scenic 30-minute hike to the breathtaking Maundi Crater. After soaking in the spectacular views, descend back to Marangu Gate.
