Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, you will embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National park in western Uganda.
A stopover at the Uganda Equator at Kayabwe. Here, you will be at the center of the universe (00), stand both the northern and the southern hemisphere and experience the scientific experiments and later proceed on the journey to catch up with Lunch time in Mbarara
On arrival in the evening, you will check in the wilderness lodge and enjoy the quite fresh air of the park with calls from birds and herds of elephants which sometimes will keep visiting you

Morning Game drive & Boat Cruise safari
As early as 6am, you will leave the lodge with packed breakfast for a game drive to the famous Ishasha sector of the park for sighting of the tree climbing Lions. It a peculiar behavior among lions but those of Queen Elizabeth are now known for climbing trees. This game drive is always rewarding with several savannah encounters like herds of elephants, buffaloes, baboons, waterbuck, giant forest hog, leopards, lions and hyenas and several bird species flying and perching on thickets.
After lunch at the lodge, you will head to the jetty for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel. This is among the highlights of Uganda safaris within Queen Elizabeth Park. the launch cruise offers great chances to take pictures since the boat drifts slowly just by the shores of the channel. The Kazinga Channel supports the biggest number of Hippos in the whole of Africa, crocodiles, elephants quenching their thirst, buffaloes and thousands of bird life that flourish on the banks.

Chimpanzee tracking & transfer back to Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, a chimpanzee trek at the Kyambura gorge will commence the day’s adventure. This gorge is still within the park boundaries and will give you stunning views of chimps swinging up and about in trees. The experience at kyambura gorge is beyond just walking and discovering chimps, it a natural ecosystem. It grants you ideas of kyambura gorge’s atmospheric environments to mention underground forests, vegetation types, bird discoveries and behavior, monkey and chimpanzee ecology.
Later, you will embark on a relaxed drive back to the city to either catch your flight back home or to the hotel according to your flight arrangements.
