Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or lodge in Arusha and receive a safari briefing. Afterward, you will head to Tarangire National Park. Your adventure begins with an exciting game drive across the expansive park, where you will arrive in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will continue exploring Tarangire, renowned for its impressive baobab trees that tower over the animals grazing beneath them. Central to the park, the Tarangire River is famous for attracting some of Africa's largest elephant herds. As you explore the area, you might encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffaloes, oryx, eland, giraffes and zebras.

After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for a delightful dinner.

Game Drive En Route to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend from the highlands, you will enter the expansive Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

You will head to the Seronera area, renowned for being one of the park's richest wildlife habitats. The Seronera River flows through this region, attracting a diverse array of wildlife representative of many species found in the Serengeti.

Arriving in time for lunch, you will then embark on an afternoon game drive. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset at our Seronera public campsite in the evening, followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest collapsed volcanic caldera, spans 14km (11mi) of stunning natural beauty. Surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes, the crater's floor is dotted with watering holes and is home to approximately 30,000 animals.

The day will conclude with a hearty dinner and a restful night at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for a game drive. Expect to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Birdwatchers will enjoy spotting eagles, vultures, and flamingoes in the crater lake, as well as storks, bats, sacred ibises, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles.

Following a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool, you will continue your afternoon game drive. Later, you will begin the steep ascent out of the crater and head to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu. As the day comes to an end, a freshly prepared dinner will await you at your chosen lodge. After this adventurous day, a good rest is essential. The following day, you will embark on the final leg of your safari.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, you will begin with a hearty breakfast before heading to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive, including a picnic lunch. As you enter the park, you will be welcomed by lush forests of acacia and mahogany trees, setting the stage for your adventure. The game drive will continue until evening, with a break for your picnic lunch. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons and blue monkeys. One of the park's unique features is its tree-climbing lions, although spotting them can be a matter of luck. Depending on the season, you may also witness the shoreline turning pink with flocks of flamingoes. After the game drive, you will return to Arusha, where you can choose to stay at a hotel or be dropped off at the airport.
