Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will take you to Tarangire National Park, which is renowned for its large elephant herds, expansive savannahs, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life sustaining Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink and cool off from the heat. You may encounter giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, all under the watchful eyes of predators such as lions and leopards. From your open-roof vehicle, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the stunning landscape and its diverse wildlife. Savor a picnic lunch with coffee and soft drinks in the heart of the park. After a day filled with exploration, you'll be transferred to the lodge for check-in, followed by dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3-5

After breakfast, you'll journey up to the crater highlands, pausing at the rim to marvel at the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater and the expansive Serengeti. The Serengeti, aptly named "endless plains," is home to over two million wildebeest and countless other wildlife. From January to April, the landscape comes alive with the birth of wildebeest, plains zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle calves, attracting large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The park also hosts an array of smaller animals, including rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares, along with over 500 bird species. After a thrilling game drive, you'll return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Your day begins with an early morning game drive, which is perfect for spotting active wildlife and experiencing the stunning spectacle of an African sunrise. Following this, you'll return to camp for breakfast, check out, and proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater. Renowned for having the highest concentration of wildlife in the world, the crater is home to the rare black rhino and features diverse landscapes including a river, swamps, a soda lake that appears as steam from above, a forest, and open plains. The area is also famous for its large bull elephants, who have impressive tusks thanks to the nutrient-rich volcanic soil. During this incredible game drive, you'll enjoy lunch surrounded by the crater's unique ecosystem. After a full day of exploration, you'll ascend to the rim and drive to the camp, where you'll check in, have dinner, and settle in for your overnight stay.

After a 7:30am breakfast, you’ll prepare for an 8:30am departure. The drive to Lake Manyara National Park takes approximately two hours. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a six-hour game drive, enjoying the park's diverse landscapes and wildlife and a picnic lunch. After an exciting day of exploration, you'll exit Lake Manyara National Park and begin the journey back towards Arusha.
