Program of the day: After breakfast in Karatu, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and start the adventure to Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy a game drive through Tarangire, renowned for its large elephant herds, lions, and baobab trees then pause for a picnic lunch in the park. You will continue exploring until early evening when you will be transferred to Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu for a delicious dinner and overnight stay. The name of the park originates from Tarangire River that winds its way through the parklands which is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry season. The Park is well-known for its large elephant herds, Giant Scattered Baobab Trees and Tree-Climbing Africa Python. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna grass lands with animals such as lions, zebras, gazelles, leopards, hyenas, giraffes and many more.

You will visit the Seronera River to witness the Great Migration and its spectacular herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to camp for a hot meal and continue your game drive until late evening, discovering the Serengeti’s rich wildlife. You will return to Kontiki Serengeti Camp for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Continue your game drive in the crater till early evening, spotting the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. You will then embark on your journey to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
