Program of the day: After breakfast in Karatu, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and start the adventure to Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy a game drive through Tarangire, renowned for its large elephant herds, lions, and baobab trees then pause for a picnic lunch in the park. You will continue exploring until early evening when you will be transferred to Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu for a delicious dinner and overnight stay. The name of the park originates from Tarangire River that winds its way through the parklands which is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry season. The Park is well-known for its large elephant herds, Giant Scattered Baobab Trees and Tree-Climbing Africa Python. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna grass lands with animals such as lions, zebras, gazelles, leopards, hyenas, giraffes and many more.
