Nairobi to Masai Mara

The tour will begin with a 0730hrs pick up from the hotel or airport and head straight to the Mara. The drive to Mara should be about 6 hours depending on the traffic. You will have a stop at the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment for a breathtaking view, photography and a bathroom break. Proceed with your drive arriving in Mara just in time for lunch. Check in at Mara Engai Lodge and have your lunch before proceeding for an afternoon game drive. After the game drive head back to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

On this day, get to spend the whole day in the park in search of the big five and other resident animals like the zebras, giraffes, gazelles, hyenas and the endless species of birds. After breakfast, leave the lodge with packed lunch, and have game drives for most of the morning hours till noon. Our tour guide will then take you to a picnic spot where you will have your lunch and after that continue with the game drives and later on head back to the lodge for an evening meal and overnight stay.

(side note – balloon safaris and Maasai cultural village visits can be organized at an extra fee).

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Early in the morning after breakfast check out of your Mara Engai lodge and depart for Lake Naivasha which is a 5-hour drive from the Mara. Check-in at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp for lunch then head out to the Lake for a boat ride experience as well as the Crescent Island visit - which is a guided walking safari where you get to see zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, antelopes and wildebeests up close and in their natural habitats. Later on return to Lake Naivasha Crescent camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Your day begins with a beautiful view and breakfast on your balcony as you soak in the fresh air and the chirping of the birds. After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and head to Amboseli National Park which should be a 5-hour drive. Your estimated time of arrival should be in time for lunch. Check-in at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, have a hot meal accompanied by some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive which lasts for two hours then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning and proceed for a game drive at 6 am. (This is considered the best time to see animals, possibly a hunt or kill and also catch the sunrise with the beautiful backdrop of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Head back to your camp at around 0900hrs for breakfast and later depart for Nairobi. Have a quick stop for lunch on the way before drop off at your preferred hotel or airport.
