Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
When you arrive at the airport, your driver will meet you and take you to Arusha. Your Tanzanian safari adventure is about to begin! We’ll welcome you, explain what’s coming up, and answer any questions you have. Then, we’ll start exploring the amazing sights of Tanzania. Arusha is a lively city, and many travelers pass through here. You’ll see vibrant streets full of activity. For the night, you’ll stay and have dinner at Karibu Heritage House.

Arusha to Lake Natron
After breakfast, you'll head to Lake Natron. Beyond Mto wa Mbu, you'll leave the paved road and drive through the scenic East African Rift Valley. You'll pass Maasai villages and see their sacred mountain, Ol Doinyo Lengai. When you reach the Maasai village of Ngare Sero, you're close to the lake. Lake Natron is home to about 2.5 million dwarf flamingos and is a key breeding spot for them. The lake's salty water supports algae and bacteria, giving it its red to purple color. The area around the lake is one of Africa's most beautiful and untouched regions. You’ll hike to the lake, visit nearby waterfalls, and enjoy a refreshing swim. You'll spend the night camping at Lake Natron.

Climb Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai 2962m
At 1:00 a.m., you'll enjoy a cup of coffee and meet a Maasai guide who speaks English. This guide will help you reach the summit of Mount Ol Donyo Lengai. The climb is challenging and steep, so you need to be fit and prepared. You’ll hike up to the summit at 9,442 feet (2,878 meters) to see the volcanic eruption and stunning views of Ngorongoro Crater, Mt Longido, Lake Natron, Maasai bushland, and other mountains like Mt Kitumbeine and Mt Kerimasi.
After sunrise, you'll slowly descend to the starting point where your driver will be waiting to take you back to camp. You’ll have lunch and time to rest at the campsite.
For dinner and overnight, you'll stay at Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge or a similar lodge with hot showers, mosquito nets, and Wi-Fi.

Natron to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll head to the Serengeti. The drive takes you through the Rift Valley and onto the vast Serengeti plains. Serengeti National Park is famous for its large animal migrations. Each year, over 1.4 million wildebeests, 300,000 Thomson's gazelles, 200,000 zebras, and several thousand topis move to greener pastures with the changing seasons. The park also hosts many other animals, including giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, elephants, and crocodiles. It’s especially known for its big cat population with around 3,000 lions, 300 cheetahs, and 400-700 leopards.
On your way, you'll have the chance to see various wild animals like leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and different birds.

Full-day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll spend the whole day exploring Serengeti National Park. This park is famous for the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and many antelopes move in search of fresh grass. With so many animals around, you’ll likely spot big cats and other predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. The park is also home to many smaller animals and over 500 bird species.
Depending on the migration season, you'll explore either the central Serengeti or the Northern Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
This morning, you'll continue your wildlife safari in the Serengeti. By noon, you'll head towards Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are connected, so you might see more wildlife on the way. You'll spend the night at Simba Camp on the edge of the crater, where you can enjoy stunning views and a beautiful sunset.

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
Today, you’ll visit Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most stunning natural wonders. From above, you’ll see morning mist rolling over the crater rim and the steep walls creating a unique view. Down in the crater, you’ll explore a special world that’s home to lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, and golden jackals. You’ll find forests, lakes with hippos, a salt pan, and hyena dens. It feels like stepping into a wild safari park where nature is at its best.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha
If you’ve never been to Tarangire before, you’re in for a treat. The park is known for its giant baobab trees and many elephants. You’ll also likely see big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and zebras are common sights as well. The park’s scenery is beautiful, with river woodlands, open plains, and rolling hills. You’ll have great spots to enjoy the views. As your Tanzanian safari comes to an end, we hope you’ve had a wonderful experience. Later this afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay or head to the airport.
