Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Upon landing between 9:00 am and 9:20 am, your first destination is Tarangire, often referred to as "the land of Giants." Your safari guide will meet you for a 2-hour journey through Maasai land, ending at the Tarangire gate. In the afternoon, after an exciting game drive, you will pause for a picnic lunch by the river.

Tarangire is home to an annual migration that rivals the famous Serengeti, with a particularly impressive concentration of elephants along the riverbanks during the dry season. Afterward, you'll embark on another game drive to further explore this incredible landscape.

You’ll end your day in the evening at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge in Karatu, where you'll enjoy dinner, refreshments, and a restful night.

After breakfast, your journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands on your way to the Serengeti gate, where the day will be filled with exciting game drives through Serengeti National Park.

Famed as Africa's most iconic park, the Serengeti spans over 14,000 square kilometers of vast savannah, home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and a rich diversity of other wildlife.

Today, the excitement builds as you set off on an adventure into the world’s most famous wildlife sanctuary, the Serengeti. After a hearty breakfast, you'll journey to the expansive Serengeti National Park, where endless plains stretch to the horizon. The name "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai word for "endless plains," capturing the awe-inspiring view of grasslands blending seamlessly with the sky.

Covering over 14,000 square kilometers, the Serengeti redefines your sense of scale. This remarkable park is home to the majestic Big Five—elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. Amidst these iconic animals, you’ll also encounter one of Africa’s most graceful creatures, impalas.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Known as one of Africa's most densely populated wildlife regions, the crater is home to around 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos. Covering over 8,000 square kilometers, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, offering a truly breathtaking experience.

In the late afternoon, you'll head back to Arusha, where transportation to the airport will be arranged for your departure to Zanzibar.
