Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning after breakfast, your guide will pack your picnic lunch boxes in a 4×4 safari jeep, then you will have less than 30 minutes to drive before you begin your exploration of this wonderful country to your destination of the day Lake Manyara. Although it is one of Tanzania’s small wildlife enclaves, Lake Manyara National Park is a spectacular reserve that boasts an incredible diversity of land. This is the area where bird lovers will enjoy the most, the lake is full of birds such as hundreds of pink flamingos and yellow-billed storks to mention a few flying here and there around the lake. Also, Lake Manyara is famous for a special variety of tree-climbing lions which is probably the only variety of lions that cannot be found elsewhere in Tanzania, but also a great concentration of baboons, blue monkeys, large buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffe. After the whole day game drive, you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning your driver/guide will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. After registration descend to the crater for an enchanting game viewing. Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of ‘the land. During your game drive inside the crater, you will most likely see black rhinos, leopards, wonderful black-maned lions, and many flamingos. After the crater, you will be transferred to Arusha where you will have the option to overnight in Arusha or be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
