Morning safaris generally start very early, around 5:30 to 6:00 AM, just before sunrise. This is the best time to spot wildlife, as many animals are more active during the cooler early hours of the day. You’ll be woken up with a hot cup of coffee or tea and a light breakfast before heading out. After the safari return for a delicious breakfast. Then take a light aircraft light to connect South Luangwa National Park (via Mfuwe Airport) to Lusaka, Zambia’s capital. The flight from Mfuwe to Lusaka typically takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, making it a convenient option for travelers looking to head to Lusaka after a safari in South Luangwa.
