Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Arrival in Arusha

Once you arrive in Arusha, your guide will be waiting for you at the international Airport ready to transfer you to your accommodation for the night. You will over night at Kahawa House. Dinner is for your own account along with any drinks. This is to be settled upon departure the next day. Your room at Kahawa House will have a king size bed along with mosquito netting and bottled water in the room. The ensuite bathroom is spacious with a bath and a shower.

Day 2-3

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Your guide will take you to Tarangire National Park. This is roughly a 4 hour drive from Arusha. You will arrive at the camp intime for lunch with a wonderful bush view. All your drinks are for your own account. Once you are settled into your room and unpacked as well as freshened up, your guide will take you on a late afternoon game drive. Here one can see elephants, lions, buffalo. If you are lucky enough, you will see a leopard. Sightings are not always guaranteed as the animals are constantly moving around. In the late afternoon, early evening, you will head back to camp, dinner is waiting under the African bush. Sit around the camp fire and listen to the sounds of nature.

Day 3 is filled with 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as well as game drives. Drinks in the vehicle will consist of bottle water and non alcoholic drinks.

Day 4-6

South Serengeti to see the calves

South Serengeti to see the calves

On day 4, we head to South Serengeti to see the calves. While you may or may not witness the wildebeest giving birth, you will certainly see the calves running around and exploring their new life on earth. These bouncy little animals are fun to watch as they interact with each other. Predators such as lion, cheetah and leopard, pray on these new borns, while this is the circle of life and sad, it is amazing to witness.

Your days will be spent having three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) along with game drives exploring the Ndutu area and watching the wildebeests. There are roughly 8000 calves born daily as researchers show.

Snacks, water and soft drinks will be in the vehicle for you.

Day 7-8

Off to the Crater

Off to the Crater

Making our way to the Ngorongoro Crater, this is truly a spectacular sighting.
Arriving at the lodge in time for lunch, we will relax for the rest of the afternoon, catch up on some rest or just admire the views from your room. The views from the lodge are just amazing.

Your guide will take you to a location away from the lodge to enjoy the sunset and have a sundowner. This sundowner will be included in your package. Afterwards head back to the lodge and enjoy dinner.

The next day you will be up early for breakfast, once done you will head out for the full day exploring the crater.

At lunch time you will be treated to a lunch in the crater. All drinks are for your own account.

In the late afternoon, we arrive back at the lodge. Freshen up and dinner will be served.

End of the tour and head back to Arusha

After a leisurely breakfast, it is time to head back to Arusha.
This drive is 4 hours long.

Once you arrive back in Arusha your guide will drop you off at your designated area at either the airport or hotel.
