Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast this morning, you'll depart the camp at 6:30 am, ready for a full-day game drive. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalos, hippopotami, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, and lions. If you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration, you will be more than astonished. In the late afternoon, you'll venture out in another game drive. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys, and, yes, birds, but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—watching the world go by. Nothing is quite so essentially a ‘safari’ as the traditional ‘bush dinner’. Typically, your bush dinner takes place at a scenic location on the plains. You will find that a table and chairs have already been set up. You'll begin with sundowners, the selection of meat, fish, and poultry will be supplemented by vegetarian choices, salads, fruit, and desserts from the main camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
A walking safari puts you close to nature. Suddenly your senses come alive— smell, touch, sight, taste, and hearing. You'll see a lone buffalo, or a mob of elephants ahead. You'll ask your guide all questions arousing the sense of being part of nature.
Accompanied by a well-trained park ranger, a walking safari lasts about 2-3 hrs. The bush can be examined at a low pace allowing for more attention and fascinating detailed information about plants and their medicinal uses, animal dropping, footprints, landscape, and geology than safari solely in a safari vehicle. You can approach the wildlife depending on the direction of wind and cover available. The guides do not always bring guests closer to wildlife than is comfortable. Afterward, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater provides great wildlife viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. Lake Eyasi Cultural Tour
After breakfast, a true African experience awaits. You will visit the Hadzabe, an ethnic minority and one of Tanzania’s last hunter-gatherer people. They have managed to maintain their traditional lifestyle until this day in this dry and mostly barren area. Thereafter, you will pay a visit to the pastoral nomads and herdsmen, known as the Datoga tribe. The experience is completed with a stop at the blacksmiths where you will witness craftsmen in rather rudimentary working conditions. After this interactive cultural experience, you will then drive back to Arusha and we will drop you at your accommodation.
