You will meet our guide/driver who will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and arrive at your accommodation in the park. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to go for an evening game drive in the park to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, and possibly lions.

Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is known for its diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and various species of antelopes. After the morning game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This boat ride offers a unique opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, various water birds, and other animals as they come to drink water at the channel’s edge. After the boat safari, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive to Bwindi is scenic and will take you through beautiful landscapes and local communities. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check into your accommodation, and spend the rest of the day at leisure, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, have breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After the briefing, you’ll be assigned a gorilla family to track, and a professional guide will lead you into the forest to search for the gorillas. The duration of the trek can vary, depending on the gorilla family’s location, but it can take several hours of hiking through steep and dense terrain. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll spend a magical hour observing and photographing them from a close but safe distance. After the gorilla trek, return to your lodge and spend the evening relaxing and reflecting on your incredible experience.
