We will pick you up from your hotel, and after getting you acquainted with your guide and chef, transfer you to Tarangire National Park (a two-hour drive).
Tarangire is known for its abundant, ancient baobab trees and boasts the largest concentration of elephants in the country. You’ll have unique opportunities to observe the interaction between elephant families.
During our game drive through the park, we'll focus on areas with reported animal sightings, with a special emphasis on predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards (since they are more elusive).
Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are also plentiful throughout the park.
Later, we will visit the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy lunch with a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding wildlife.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will enjoy the sunrise in the Serengeti National Park and a half-day game drive in Serengeti and then drive onto Ngorongoro Conversation Area.
There are several documented resident lion prides just within a one-hour game drive radius from Seronera.
During the dry season, the resident pride begins to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park. The dry season is a particularly good time for lion viewing in the Central Serengeti.
The Central Serengeti is also one of the best areas in Africa to spot the elusive leopard.
You may be lucky enough to encounter this majestic cat in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you will descend into the crater for a crater game tour. Often called the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed.
The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands.
These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals—including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all the predatory cats.
After having lunch at the camp, you will go on another game drive before being transferred back to Arusha.
